Design Analysis
Each one of these films has a very strong artistic strength to them. Diseccting the sound, color, and costume choices and all three of these films gave me a better sense of what I look for in a piece of art. How I approach design is very similar to how I approached the analysis presented bellow.
Call Me By Your Name
General Design Impact
Call Me By Your Name is a film based off of the novel written by André Aciman and directed by Luca Guadagnino. Throughout the film, it's theme and morals are constantly emphasized through the sound and cinematography of the film. Click the image to the left to read more about the analysis.

Costume Design
Little Women is a film based off of the novel written by Louisa May Alcott and was directed by Greta Gerwig. The costume designer, Jacqueline Durran, manages to enforce the movies main theme throughout a classic yet modernized take on the clothing of the time. Click the link to the right to see more!

Lighting and Cinemotagraphy
The Social Network is a film based off of the beginnings of Facebook and how Mark Zuckerberg created the company. Within the movie, the lighting emphasizes the emotion with the support of color choices, driving the impact the website's creation has had upon society and personal lives.
